Carolyne Loreé Teston
Carolyne Loreé Teston (American, b. 1988) is a photographer originally from Dahlonega, GA. She attended the Lamar Dodd School of Art at the University of Georgia, where she received a BFA in Photography. She is based in New York and creates work that attempts to find balance between a longing for serenity in nature and a dependency on technology. Her work mainly consists of film photographs made from family heirloom cameras. She is inspired by the concept of time, classical sculpture, Baroque painting, self identity, the internet and relationships between light, color and gesture.
